Hi! I'm Gretch, the person behind the lens of GretchMarie Photography, Hi! I'm a lifestyle photographer based out of Bayboro, NC, passionate about capturing real, heartwarming moments that tell your story.

A bit about me: I am originally from Cincinnati, OH. I taught 18-24m olds while obtaining my bachelors degree in Family Studies and Sociology from Miami University - shortly after, I moved to Savannah, GA where I met my now husband and moved with him to NC in 2016. I have always been an artsy person and found my passion for portrait/lifestyle photography while teaching where I started out taking family photos of co-teachers and for students families. 

Whether it's the sweet snuggles of a newborn, the laughter of siblings in a sunflower field, the quiet in-between moments (or not so quiet) that you never want to forget, I believe every season of life deserves to be documented beautifully. I believe that these aren't just images we are capturing but a moment in time to preserve. Life moves fast, being able to retrace our feelings, the chaos, the love, and the stories that are uniquely yours is important and I want these photos that we create to bring back those memories for you.

When I'm not behind the camera, you will find me with my family. I am a stay at home momma, raising two kiddos of my own with my hubs. Let me help ease the stress of getting your family infront of the camera and you, momma, not the one taking the photos but in them! Now your turn :)
